Hours: Full time, permanent, averaging 40 hours per week and will include some weekends, evenings and bank holidays as required.

We’re currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias).

About the Role

Inthis role you are responsible, as part of a well-trained and competent team,for maintaining the 27 rides that we have across the park.  

While you may be multi-skilled and trained on a wide range of equipment to beable to support every element of ride maintenance safely, you would be expectedto have a particular focus on electrical elements of the rides and developthese skills further.

Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance activities including openingand closing checks, daily and weekly maintenance, and annual maintenancerequirements, all whilst providing electrical expertise to develop and improvethe ride availability.

About You 

We are looking for the following skills and experience;

  • A “can do” attitude and endless energy and enthusiasm for the role.
  • Completed apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline and hold an ONC,NVQ level 3 or BTEC equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Post apprenticeship experience within a relevant engineering department.
  • Inspection experience.
  • Full understanding of engineering-related statutory requirements such asCOSHH.
  • Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems of work.
  • The ability to read and use engineering drawings.
  • The ability to display problem solving and diagnostic skills.
  • While previous work in a theme park environment is desirable, engineeringexperience gathered on other electrical systems may be equally suitable.
  • The ability to display problem solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Have experience of using technical manuals, Risk assessments and relateddocumentation.

This role is full time, permanent, averaging 40 hours per week and will includesome weekends, evenings and bank holidays as required.
